About Sandra Lousada
Sandra Lousada became a photographer in the late 1950s.
She was commissioned to photograph leading figures in the arts including actors Laurence Olivier, Vanessa Redgrave, Sarah Miles and James Fox; writers Richard Hughes and Laurie Lee; and artists David Hockney and Eduardo Paolozzi.
Her fashion work includes portraits of models Jean Shrimpton and Celia Hammond for magazines such as Vogue and Harpers & Queen.
In recent years she has also worked a lot with children.
